Butyl Diglycol Ether (BDGE) is a highly versatile, low-odor solvent known for its excellent water compatibility and slow evaporation rate. It is widely used as a coalescing solvent in water-based paints, coatings, and printing inks. BDGE also serves as an effective cleaning and degreasing agent in household and industrial formulations and is used as a viscosity-controlling diluent in hydraulic brake fluids and drilling fluid applications.
