Acrylic acid (AA) is a highly reactive chemical intermediate primarily used to manufacture acrylate esters and polyacrylic acids. Its biggest application is in Superabsorbent Polymers (SAPs) for disposable diapers and hygiene products. It is also essential for formulating adhesives, water-based paints, coatings, and water treatment chemicals.
